Nell’ambito degli incontri sul valore/diritto della “Partecipazione” del cittadino alla vita pubblica, mercoledì 13 Aprile ore 20.15 in Via Siena 1 CittàInsieme ha organizzato un incontro dedicato alla questione della privatizzazione dell’acqua ed ai relativi due quesiti referendari che costituiranno oggetto di consultazione nelle giornate del 12 e 13 giugno (insieme a quelli sul nucleare e sul legittimo impedimento). L’obiettivo di questo incontro è stato quello di esporre le ragioni per le quali un bene primario come l’acqua non deve essere privatizzato, le ragioni per le quali è stato proposto di indire un referendum abrogativo avente ad oggetto le disposizioni di legge in materia di ‘privatizzazione dell’acqua’ e, soprattutto, per quale motivo il concetto di “acqua” si sposa strettamente con la vita democratica e partecipata di una comunità.
Sono intervenuti Giovanni Messina, Sara Giorlando, Danilo Pulvirenti e Marcello Failla del Forum Catanese per l’Acqua Pubblica. Ha moderato Mirko Viola (CittàInsieme).
